Yesterday Big K.R.I.T dropped the visual for the title track of “4EvaNADay” mixtape. Produced by K.R.I.T. himself, “4EvaNADay (Theme)” is just one of those uptempo, feel good tracks that you can’t help do a two-step and throw the finger at the haters all in one swoop.

LOVING LOVING the visuals on this.  I can’t wait for “Life From The Underground” to drop in June!!!!

Gearing up everyone for his upcoming album “Looking For Myself,” Usher has released “Lemme See” an uptempo club track.  The song features Rick Ross and produced by Jim Jonsin.

I see how this song will be popular in the strip clubs and while some of the notes IMO is kinda pitchy I like the song. The hook together with the production alone is dope. I’m still a die-hard fan of “Climax” tho.

Rihanna gave me ALL THE LIFE today…

“Where Have You Been” premiered today (April 30th) and its nothing but choreographed fierceness.  The song is off of Rihanna’s current album “Talk That Talk” and is produced Dr.Luke.

Soooo in my head, I have always pictured the video of this song to be where Rihanna’s at this huge and very crowded disco-like block party and she’s looking all around for her lover.  The is video is NOTHING like that, and it’s still everything I could dream of.

I see gay guys and chicks trying to do the choreography in the clubs and wearing some of RiRi’s outfits VERY soon

I can’t believe…well I take that back…I CAN BELIEVE that I wasted close to 4 minutes on this fuckery of a video/song.

Last week Ms. “I’m not a pop star I’m a rapper” Nicki Minaj dropped her video for the annoying Top 40 song “Starships” off of her album “Pink Friday: Reloaded”  The song is produced by RedOne and the video has Nicki looking uncoordinated as ever running around on a beach looking uncomfortable. Did she get her breasts done? I’ve never seen them that big…but then again we see how her backside has grown during the years.

This can easily be one  the worst song and video combo of this year…and I can say that with confidence even with it just being April.

You know what…….THIS is the Nas that we love and call a great

Nas laced the world today with a beautiful track entitled “Daughters” produced by the great No I.D.  ”Daughters” is an ode to the fathers out there raising a girl with or without the help from the mother. Nas opens up about raising his baby girl Destiny in the public eye and how it wasn’t easy.

These type of songs I love to hear because..in this day and age where men, particularly black men, are showcased as being “deadbeats” and “not involved” in their children’s lives, this song brings to light how precious being a father is to a young girl.  Kudos to Nas and No I.D. for this.
