“Turn Up The Music” by Chris Brown (2012)

•January 28, 2012 • Leave a Comment

Here is a new song by the blonde headed dude himself Chris Brown entitled “Turn Up The Music.”  No word on who produced it, but clearly Breezy is going that “international pop” route since “Beautiful People” became such a huge hit.   Not so much my cup of team but its not a bad song.

“Turn Up The Music” is off of his upcoming “Fortunate” which is coming out later this year.

“No Church In The Wild (Freestyle) by Joe Budden (2012)

“No Church In The Wild (Freestyle)” by Joe Budden

Despite is drama, no one can deny the lyrical talent of Joe Budden. Hey, it’s that drama that gives us detailed, cinema like storytelling that we all love from him — even if it can be very emo.

A few days ago Budden dropped his freestyle over Jay-Z and Kanye West’s “No Church In The Wild”  which touches on a multitude of topics: from his current status with Tahiry, the Common/Drake “beef’ and of course the heauxs.

Thoughts on the track?

Notorious B.I.G. Graces XXL March 2012 Special Edition Cover

Absolutely will cop this….

The late great Notorious B.I.G. is on the upcoming March 2012 special edition of XXL Magazine.  Titled “RIP 15 Years”, the issue features 40 never before seen photos of Biggie along with 100 best Biggie bites and a glimpse on how not only his children but his baby mothers are doing now.

Like we all know how Faith Evans and his Jr. are doing..but we NEVER hear anything about his 1st born daughter Tyanna and baby mother Jan Jackson. They have done well to stay out of the public eye so I’m curious to see how they are doing.

My Boo Rihanna Tattoos “Thug Life” On Her Knuckles

•January 25, 2012 • Leave a Comment

Ya’ll know how I feel about this woman….like she’s greatness from head to toe. She’s raunchy, fearless, fashion forward with a sick shape and beautiful face. See how one of my words is fearless?  She’s so fearless that it didn’t take her any thought to go to the tattoo parlor earlier this week and get “Thug Life” tattooed on her knuckles.

As you see above, it looks like she got it done in white ink. If you heard about white ink or if you NEVER even knew they HAD it, it’s an ink that under a black light will glow in the dark.  So you really can’t “see” in regular light unless you like really looking at it.  So there IS a method to her madness…smart RiRi :)

When this picture came across Twitter I know it was 852436548 chicks that went to their local tattoo parlor and got this done.

Video: “Hands On The Wheel” by ScHoolBoy Q ft. A$AP Rocky (2012

Here is the video for “Hands On The Wheel” by ScHoolboy Q featuring A$AP Rocky.  The song is on Q’s current mixtape, “Habits and Consequences” and it was produced by Best Kept Secret ( you heard alot of their work on older Wale mixtapes). It samples the cover “The Pursuit of Happiness” by Lissie, with the original being by Kid Cudi.

The video absolutely fits the song perfectly…just all over the place yet focused.

“Habits and Consequences” by ScHoolboy Q is out now in Itunes. Worth the cop.
